Canvas : Printed onto canvas, ships rolled.

Semi-Origianal: The print is first printed onto canvas, then enhanced. Devora paints on top of the print adding originality and customization along with color enhancement and texture. No two Semi-Originals are ever the same.

Approached with the straightforward concept of Kriyat Yam Suf, my client challenged me to somehow make it unique. This vague goal was extremely exciting and allowed me to play with all the color, composition, and texture throughout the process. Once sketched out, the painting process took what felt like a second. This piece was done with a pallet knife with strokes that are much rougher similar to waves. Not knowing how one would be able to capture one of the greatest and most spectacular miracles of all time, I am beyond thrilled with how this came out.
