FAQ
Are you selling commissions? If so, what are my options?
Yes! Commissions are custom paintings made specifically for you. You can choose the colors, size, and subjects. There is some creation time required as they are pieces made from scratch; however, I provide pictures and updates throughout the process.
*Note: I retain all rights to reproduce, and use all paintings, even if they sold as commissions. The rights to artwork are available for purchase separately.
What are the differences in the print options?
There are three print options available for purchase.
All prints are scanned to ensure the highest quality, and detail.
1.10 mil Archival Acid-Free Paper: This is a high quality, non -gloss paper, that is thicker and more textured than regular printing paper and should be framed.
- Canvas: This is where the chosen artwork gets printed onto a canvas that comes stretched on a wooden frame. Different than the 10 mil Archival Acid-Free Paper, it does not need a frame, but of course, framing ads a more polished finish to the piece.
- Semi-Original Giclee: This is the same as a canvas print, but after printing, I then take it to my studio and add original strokes and texture. These added original strokes create a textured piece that is one of a kind, as no painting or giclee comes out the same.
How do I book a Paint Night (party) and what are the prices?
To book a Paint Night (party) either email me or get in touch via Instagram (@worldofcolorstudios), to ensure your date is available. I suggest you book as early as possible to ensure you get your desired date. Prices vary depending on the size and location of your party.
What happens at a Paint Night? What do I need to know?
A paint night is a fun way to hang out with friends, family, or co-workers, as you follow instructions to make your very own piece of art! I come with a finished painting, (which you can choose ahead of time), and show everyone step by step how to recreate it on their own. I bring all the supplies needed including paints, canvases, brushes, easels, and aprons. All you need is to have the table(s) and chairs set up.
Warning: Although I bring aprons, the paint will stain clothing, and I encourage you to take caution when choosing paint clothes.
Do you teach art classes? How can I register?
I teach private and group classes. If you are interested in joining a class, please reach out so we can find the right course for you. If you would like to create a class, please reach out with an established group.
Where are you located?
I am in Queens, New York, though I travel all over.
Are you open to participating in charities, fundraisers, or collaborations?
Of course! I love to give back and work with new people when I can. Please be in touch, and we will see if we can make something happen.
