You would think painting the same scene would get boring, and there is something very exciting about analyzing the same scene again and again. You get to know and love that place in a special way. There is no place like the kotel, and each time I paint it I see it a little differently and  get a different understanding of the kotel and its significance

This painting was created with a pallet knife (a pallet knife looks a little like an offset spatula).  This technique gives the painting depth and texture that can not be achieved with a brush.
