Chuppah

Heavy Weight Paper : Printed onto thick textured paper.

Canvas : Printed onto canvas, ships rolled.

Semi-Origianal: The print is first printed onto canvas, then enhanced. Devora paints on top of the print adding originality and customization along with color enhancement and texture. No two Semi-Originals are ever the same.

This painting was created using so many different techniques, it was a joy to make. The background, chuppah, and people in the back were created with brushwork. The edges, done first with spilled paint, were then blown with a straw. Lastly, a pallet knife was added to blend the spilled paint into the background. The knife also added texture to the people towards the front, giving them the effect of appearing closer.
