Sadly I have not been to Eretz Israel in a long time. Although it’s not the same, I do feel like everytime I paint the kotel a part of me is there. My greatest wish is be at the kotel for Birchas Kohanim when  the Kotel flooded with people, thousands of white tallasim, and the beautiful sound of thousands and thousands all raising their voices in prayer to Hashem.

I have completed many variations of the piece, but this is the original. The bright gold of the kotel, and the beautiful blues and greens that work their way through the painting, give this painting a unified and easy feel.
