There is something about red in a kotel that makes me feel inspired and passionate. The color red makes you feel passionate, excited and gets you to act. When I see red on the kotel it makes me want to pray harder, to work on myself more, to do some sort of action to bring back what should be there, the Beit Hamikdash.
